Revolution Rotisserie Owner Nick Pesola Receives SCORE Greater Cincinnati Small Business Award

CINCINNATI—April 23, 2021 – Nick Pesola, owner of Revolution Rotisserie in Pleasant Ridge, has been named the SCORE 2020 Client of the Year in recognition of outstanding business performance throughout the pandemic.

From launching a new concept called Milkman Ice Cream and Doughnuts at his second location in Pleasant Ridge, to closing the Over-The-Rhine location where he started Revolution six years earlier, Pesola has shown restauranteurs how to do the pandemic pivot. His SCORE mentors have helped him each step of the way.

“Nick constantly adapts his business to the changing environment by drawing upon his restaurant experience and reaching out to those in the industry and others in the

small business community for ideas,” said SCORE volunteer Dan Nagel, who has mentored Pesola for seven years. “He is involved in every aspect of the business and provides mentoring to his managers. Nick’s community involvement is impressive and is a big part of establishing his brand.”

During a live broadcast on Facebook, Pesola was named the recipient of a $3,000 award from Kemba Credit Union.

“We would like to congratulate Nick for being named SCORE Greater Cincinnati Client of the Year as well as each of the finalists for their hard work and perseverance,” said Dan Sutton, President and CEO of Kemba Credit Union. “The past year has been challenging for many local businesses, but with the support of SCORE volunteers, these clients received valuable resources to help their business during the pandemic. We are extremely proud of the value this program provides to local communities in the Greater Cincinnati area.”
